Welcome to the former Wolverine's Webelos patrol website for Pack 421, Corona, California, USA.
To learn more about our Cub Scout pack, please visit www.scoutpack421.com.

The wolverine symbolizes endurance & strength - all about wolverines here and here.
We have left our website active, even though we have moved on to Boy Scouts, as a help to other Webelos and their leaders across the country - we hope that knowing how we went through the program helps you along the Boy Scout Trail.

As a den, we explored every one of the 20 Webelos activity badges during the 18 months we were Webelos (see history below). Several badges had additional requirements that had to be done by scouts outside of our den meetings. Three of the scouts in our den received the Webelos Super Achiever award for completing all 20 Webelos activity badges. Every scout in our den (total 7 Webelos scouts) received the Arrow of Light award in February 2010. We also studied many of the requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class Boy Scout Ranks while we were Webelos. We were complimented by Scoutmasters at several camps as being more prepared for Boy Scouting than many of the boys they already have in their troops. We are very proud of this - it means we are "prepared." We are very proud that we achieved so much and were able to be a part of both Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting during the BSA's Centennial year, 2010. |
On February 24, 2010, we left Cub Scouting and moved on to our Boy Scout troops during our bridging ceremony held at our Pack Meeting. Six of our den's scouts bridged to Boy Scouts. Three Wolverines became members of Troop 107 and three joined Troop 54, both located in Corona, CA. A note from our den leader - January 8, 2010 Dear Wolverines, I could not be more proud of each of you. I have always had as my goal for each of you to "do your best" in Cub Scouting and to "be prepared" for Boy Scouting if you chose to join. This has been a five year journey and whether you have been with me for all five years, just for this last year, or somewhere in between, I will never forget you and I will miss our time together. It has been my privilege to work with you as your guide through Cub Scouting. Go forward now as leaders yourselves and never forget what you have learned. ~ Roxanne Miller, Den Leader, 2005-2010 |
